Don’t miss this large-scale projection onto ‘Old Joe’. Polish artist Maciek Backzyk (kinoManual) has been commissioned to create a new audio-visual work produced from the testimonies of Central and Eastern Europeans living in the UK as part of the Testimony in Practice project.
This event is presented as part of Revolutions: 1989 in 2019, which brings together two AHRC-funded projects: In-Between Spaces, which explores barriers to inclusion and representation experienced by CEE artists living in the UK; and Testimony in Practice, which has collected short testimonies from CEEs living in the UK. The work of Revolutions can be seen in multiple locations throughout the week commencing 7 October.
