Imagining the aftermath of a society on the brink of apocalypse, Hipkiss & Graney piece together the actions that saved the world.

Drawing together folk-tales, holographs and video games, this event charts the journey from rampant consumerism and the acceleration of mass extinction, to a more equal, ecologically abundant society. This is a work of hope.

Hipkiss & Graney are one of four finalists selected for theĀ Arts & Science Sculpture Commission. They are working in partnership with digital artist Leon Trimble, who specialises in immersive video and synth design.
