The University of Birmingham is located in south-west Birmingham, approximately 3 miles from the city centre.

BY TRAIN
Regular trains run from Birmingham New Street to University Station, please check train times at nationalrail.co.uk.

PARKING
The University has two main car parks:

  • North East Car Park (access via Pritchatts Road). Sat Nav Postcode: B15 2SA
    Please note that this car park is multistory and does not have a lift. 
  • Pritchatts Road Car Park (at junction with Vincent Drive). Sat Nav Postcode: B15 2QU

Please note, due to redevelopment work taking place on Edgbaston campus there are disruptions to car parking. For more information please see the University website.

Visitor parking charges:
Up to 1 hour – £2.50
1-3 hours – £4.00
3-5 hours – £5.50
5-8 hours – £6.20
Up to 10 hours – £7.00

Charges apply Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 18.00. Parking is free of charge on weekdays after 18.00 and all day at weekends.

Blue Badge holders:
Parking is available on campus for blue badge holders. Please enter campus at East Gate and report to security for access and directions.
